I just tried to transfer money online within my country and the charge is not so high. Especially if you just transfer the money to the same bank in the same city, then it is free of charge. I haven't tried to transfer money overseas. But I know some websites charge high fees for it. Such as Microworkers charges USD35 for the bank wire and this is quite expensive. I love China

Are you serious? 35 USD? That is too much. I had tried microworkers also but I had not cash out there yet. It is hard for me to earn there. There are some jobs which were very difficult to accomplish. it is really hard to earn online.

I think it is also known as electronic fund transfer, which is instantaneous crediting of transferred amount to another account at a different place.. In my country some bank never take extra charges for it, when amount is transferred to its another office or to another bank having arrangements with it. So, now money transfer is very easy.

So the charge is dependent from the bank? I do hope it will be successful to transfer from India to Philippines. Will the money be directly transferred into my bank savings account? Is it safe to use wire transfer?

Hi... I've done this... Go to the bank where you have an account... Ask them for the wire transfer form... Fill it up and submit... Maintain appropriate balance in your account... And its done...

What about if I am to be sent of an amount of money? I had given to my employer all about my bank account. Will the wired money be credited directly to my bank savings account? It is my first to do this wire transfer. I am so sorry if I ask too much question.

Hi kaichoukebz, having been in situation where having had my money stolen whilst on holiday, I had to have some money wired to me. Yes the service providers do charge, it is cheaper to have money transfered from one bank account to another. This is a method I would only use where cash was required by the recipient.

With a wire transfer, as I understand it, you actually transfer cash so you would have to name someone to collect it. If the money is to go to a savings account then it would be much easier to transfer from one bank account to another and then transfer into a savings account. The only problem is setting up the bank accounts to start with.
