Possible trades

The NBA appears to be off and running. Some potential trades I see coming are Howard from Orlando to New Jersey. Daron Williams will be his draw there. I also see Pau Gasol traded from LA to Houston for Luis Scola and other parts. Pau just is not staying in LA. I can see Emeka Okafor traded from the Hornets to Boston since they have lost Jeff Green to medical reasons and Big baby to trade. Another move I see is the Spurs getting in the Okafor mix for possibly Jefferson and a young guy like maybe Zellar. And one more I see right off hand, certainly not the last move to be made, are the Trailblazers trying to get a healthy big guy in. Who knows, maybe they are the big player for Okafor.

I cannot see the Spurs making a legitimate run after Emeka Okafor. Their front line is solid between Duncan, Blair, Splitter, Leonard, and Bonner. Okafor doesnt upgrade their front line much. I dont care what anyone says, but no way is Tyler Zeller going to be in any way, effective. He's too soft, needs to bulk up, needs to be more physical. A guy like Zeller will be eaten alive in the pros.
In regards to NJ, the Nets have already replaced Lopez with Okur, but that doesnt make NJ any better. The Nets need to do one thing and one thing only. LAND ANOTHER SUPERSTAR. Whether if its Dwight Howard or Kobe(whos extremely upset with the way the Lakers are running things), the Nets need to pair Deron Williams up with a perennial all star. Having players like Deshawn Stevenson, Anthony Morrow, Mehmet Okur, and Shawne Williams will make Deron's job nothing short of difficult to get the Nets into the playoffs.
I dont know where Pau lands, but one thing is certain though- the Lakers are on the downfall. I dont think Mitch Kupchek is the kind of GM who will totally dismantle a team and start from scratch. I do bleive the Lakers will make a run at acquiring another superstar, but its going to be difficult and the only realistic option is Dwight, however he has strong ties to NJ/Brooklyn. It'll be interesting to see what happens because if the Lakers dont land another superstar expect this team to be dismantled, start from scratch, and be a draft lottery team.
