How can we rate a user on mylot?

I usually rate + if I see any post of good quality . I don't know why, I rarely use - rating. If I see any content that has to be removed I just have message to the admin or else I will use the report abuse button !

I rate + when the comment is relevant to the post or topic of the discussion and the contribution of that comment towards that discussion is good. I dont consider the experience, friend or not friend, etc as my parameters.

hi you have the wrong idea here we only rate on the quality of their posts,not on popularity or all the things you mentioned,this is not voting but rating the posts,the quality of them, do they contribute to the discussion or not, or is the discussion a valid one,is it good quality, not on personalities at all. we rate only on the goodness or badness of the post. Is it staying on the subject, if it is good quality I always give them a plus,if its insulting I just report as minuses just bring peoples reps down and not a kind thing to do. forget the person, this is rating the quality of the post. if this user insults anyone do report him or her as insulting and flaming are not allowed.use the exclamation mark to report with. hope I clarified this so you do not do this as a voting thing as thats not what it is about.read the guidelines and the FAQ's too. they will really help you.

According in what i read in the previous topics they say that they will rate us depend on the quality of our post. Like mylot said when we are writing our comments and discussions.. They are always saying please be descriptive as possible.
