There are so many Operation System for phones right now like Android, iOS, Windows Mobile, Symbian OS, BlackBerry OS, and mores.
Personally, my phone uses Android OS. I love this operation system because it's the best OS out there for phone in my opinion.
What about you? What Operation System your phone has?

It depends on the RAM: random access memory.
More RAM, more features that we can open at the same time.

Out of Memory means your phone RAM is full because your phone open to many application. To solve this problem you must close another program that runs at the background.
Hope it helps.
Happy mylotting!

I bought my cellphone in Feburary 14, 2009. At that time the Windows mobile was still very popular. And therefore the operating system was WM 6.0 but later I updated the operating system as WM 6.5. Now it seems that this operation system is outdated since people are interested in iOS or Android much more. But I am still satisified with my cellphone and I have no plan to change it lately. If I will buy a new cellphone again, I will choose Android because many software support it. Although the iOS APPs are a lot, but I don't really like iPhone because it is rather expensive and I don't think it is really worthy.
I love China

I think android is lot like a toy for newbies because it contains lot of functions and frills but it lacks user-friendliness that iOS have. After some time, its only user-friendliness that matters because we tend to get bored by fun stuff.

Of course I know about Android phone. I already root-ed it, flashed it, and did many things with my Android.
Dictate Message? Did you mean Voice to Text? Cuz Android has it. It even has Speech to Text... :)
Ankitgarg_Pec: No way.... Android is very userfriendly. VERY. Yups :) I just bought it a couple weeks ago and I already did many things with it. I don't like iOS because I can not customize it. But again, it's just my opinion.
Thank you for your response, guys! Happy mylotting!

I have an android O.S. and I bought it for gaming. I think it is too complicated and I liked the O.S. of my earlier phone - Java. I just loved the simplicity and ergonomics.
In Android, you need an additional app just to keep the phone awake while you are on a call. If that's not the height of stupidity, I don't know what is.

Too complicated? What is your phone then? Because Android has 3 type of phone: LDPI, MDPI, and HDPI. If you have HDPI you will get the best experience of game. But if you have LDPI: you even can't play HD game with it.
And Java, it has low class graphic which is not good for Gaming in my opinion. And regarding, additional app, no.. My phone doesn't need one, I use Galaxy Ace, and my phone still awake even I'm on a call.. Maybe the problem is in your phone not in Android OS.
Thanks for your respon, happy mylotting!

Yups... Java phone is good but has less feature than Android. You can save your money up now and buy later because there will be more great Android phones in the next year.

I am using the Blackberry OS. I had an Android before but it was not for me because I had been so use to using a Blackberry. I'm not going to say the the Blackberry OS is the best because everyone has their own opinion. I have tried the Windows OS before and that one had me so confused as to were I couldn't find my files unless I go throw a million other files. I even had the Palm Pixi in which their operating system appeal to me either, it didn't have the bells and whistle like Android or Blackberry did.

I have pretty basic OS that is Nokia Symbian S40. It does the job but I usually miss multitasking feature which most of the Smartphones nowadays have. But still I am pretty happy with my OS and not planning to change for next half year. Also there is a lot of instability in Mobile OS market nowadays, because may new OS are emerging and many old ones are extinguishing. So I think that it would be best if I wait for sometime and let the market stablise.
