Mylot responses

So I need some helpful advice how to keep up in Mylot. When I get to my Mylot to do the discussions I always go to the discussion I've started first and respond to each and every response.
Once that's done I move on to the discussions my friends have started and respond to all of the ones recently that intrest me.
But next I'd like to go back to the ones I've responded too and see if the discussion creator responded back so I can continue the discussion but look up your exact comment amongst many pages can be time consuming. Is there an easier way to find your actual disccusion post to see if there is something you need to repsond too?

Nope no easier way! I've been here for years and that is one of my biggest complaints about this site. Unfortunately it means that more often than not I don't return back to previous discussions. There's nothing more disappointing then going through 2-3 pages (or more) to find MY comment and then just see that the discussion creator never even responded back.
I wonder if there are some email alerts, I don't use emails usually but perhaps there is something to make it easier to know when someone has replied to me. I'm going to look into that!

Well that was easy - lol. I went to Preferences Notifications and there was one that said "email me if someone comments on my response". So I turned that on. We will see how that works! I must have turned that off years ago when I started here, but it certainly would save you from having to dig through pages of a discussion.

You can see it in the mylot homepage, just after you log into mylot. It comes at the bottom right for me, I can't say about you if you have customized it.
Also, in the interests tab, you can check on my interests now and then. Again, you can check my interests tab in discussions.
