what would you wish someone this holiday?

Hi! Am like you. Instead of giving anyone expensive gifts or gifts beyond my means, I would pray for their health and happiness. I would wish - they may not face unhappy and unpleasant situations in their life and May lord give them strength to face the odds.

I wish for everyone to have loved ones to spend this holiday with. To me thats more important than gifts. I hope and pray no one is lonely or sad...

my wish is for the people that are victims of the typhoon sendong. I wish they would recover from this disastrous situation and that those who lost loves one would recover too. Its really heart breaking that it happens this holiday but i pray that everything will be all right soon. And second is that i wish that me and my husband will get back to normal. We've been through hard times this couple of months and i am hoping that this New year we'll love each other more and conflicts, resentment will be gone. Happy holidays!

i dont know about it.. i think as long as iam happy with or without the lover, iam ready for the lonely maybe.. sometimes i feel that with alone, iam more happy than with a somebody else..

The holidays seem to bring out more caring and generosity and kindness in people in general. What i would wish for everyone in this holiday season is joy and happiness that lasts the whole year long. i think we are all deserving of that.

I would like to wish everyone here on myLot to have a great time during the holidays. This time of the year doesn't come too often so it's best to enjoy this event as it comes.

hi chiyosan, This is a great post because it makes us think not of ourselves always but those people around us. For so many times, I think that I am very selfish thinking only the things that can make me happy. Your post makes me stop for a while and think what do I really wish for those people around me to have this Christmas season. I wish them happiness: for my parents, my sisters, my brother, my friends, my enemies, my ex's, my colleagues and all of those people that I met. I pray that may they find the true meaning of Christmas and may the love be always in their hearts not only this season but all the year throughout.I think it is what we are always longing for -- to be happy. We can achieve it if we have peace within ourselves.

I would wish that those people who were greatly affected by typhoon Sendong, be alleviated from their hurts and pains over the loss of their properties and love ones. That they may be given shelters they can start living in. That they may find the strength to go on living with hope in their hearts. Most of all , that all those who have more in life would share what they have to typhoon Sendong's victims.

Well in turbulent times like these, wishing for peace and a better world to live in is the only thing that I would like to wish for all. Riches and other gifts can only make you happy for small time, but peace of mind is really worth sharing and enjoying. May god bless you all.

hello, Yes, that is true. Me too I cant buy an expensive gift to them which I know they will love. The only thing I can give and the best thing I can give to them is my prayers and love this Christmas because in that way I know they will still feel that they are special for me.

i wish this new year become one of the bestest year for evreyone.No one has to face any trouble or problems. I wish for my parenst and my cute, sweet naughty brother. Right now i m not with them but i can pray for them whatever they want god give them.By this i can make my new year great too.
