What food is always present during Christmas?

well we always have ham and potatoe salad with some pueto rican rice and my mom makes a turkey. and some french bread with butter. and for desert we have punkin pie, cheeses cake, and apple pie.

Yeah, I agree! Well, not on our table but in most families, it seems they always surely get a ham for Christmas. This year, we are fortunate because our office gave us one ham each and it just so happen that me and my brother work at the same office so we've got two hams for this holiday. I'm not very fond of hams although they are delicious, but I prefer other foods than it, like sweet yam, fruit salad, mango float, desserts like that. In our house, we always have spaghetti during Christmas.

I find that it's turkey that I see the most often. At least, I think that it's the case in our family.

I don't know but spaghetti is always on the menu. I not complaining because pasta has been a favorite of mine. But sometimes it gets boring. Anyway, ham, pizza and dim sum are other constant dishes. We also have fruits but sometimes, we buy too much in advance for both Christmas and New Year. My family observes the 12 fruits for the New Year but we don;t want to have tio buy expensive fruits after Christmas.

Well, i think that is practice by any one .. i think if you have any fruits,you can do anything..

Hi Jacru25, here, people living in tropical region love spicy food very much. So curry chicken and other spicy and yummy dishes are always served during Christmas celebration Ice cream and chocolate served to entertain kids as well Happy Christmas Eve

Yeah, my parents usually buy ham for Christmas. We also get cake because a couple of days after is my birthday, and the day after Christmas is my bro's. XD We're the same age for exactly one day, then I turn 22 the next. My mom also gets apples to make macaroni fruit salad, but I like my fruits just as they are, no mayo for me x). Hmm mom also cooks some chicken soup because it's chilly out and always a classic, holidays or not. :)

In our house we eat baked ziti or ham. So yummy.

During Christmas, our family always prepare fruit salad, spaghetti, chiffon cake and fruits. After attending a mass, we will gather together and eat in the dining area. I can't wait to greet them a merry Christmas.
