There are two type of school if I'm not wrong. They are Home Schooling and Ordinary School.
For me, I go to ordinary school. I never study with home schooling method. What about you guys... Have you ever tried home schooling? Is it good?
For your information, home schooling is usually taken by celebrities because they can schedule their study time.

Home schooling is an old fashion. Kids are sent to school to learn the moral values and importance of relationships. If we take home school, there is a strong chance for Missing these values. So it is always better to go to ordinary school,so that we won't miss all
These chances and we can have more friends and we can realize what life is and how to face the toughest situations in life.

"Kids are sent to school to learn the moral values and importance of relationships. If we take home school , there is a strong chance for Missing these values." ?!!!!
OK , I want you to bring some evidences that support what you have just said.
Do you know why ? I grew up at an ordinary school and there were many many types of kids : some of them were nice and educated well from home but many others brought up some really bad examples : many kids were brutal , selfish , dirty talkers , and those were the popular guys. The not popular kids like me were being got down and different boys were being laughed at. Is that what you mean by "learn the moral values" ?
instead of getting an example from the elders , you get examples from those kids.
The teachers doesn't really teach you how to behave , there are no classes for that (at least in my country) we just had to sit down , listening to the teacher about math , english , lecture , bible , geographics , and many other things that were not of our interests. 45 minuts every class , just sitting !!!
If I could chose , I would keep my children at home and teach them everything by myself : how to behave , how life is out there , what is important to know , How to THINK , how to recognize bad people and how to recognize good people.
I also think you are right on the friends issue but people can get out of ordinary school after being brutalized and with hurt feelings.

"we are born this way" We can fight we're being brutalized or bullied at the ordinary school. It makes us stronger than ever.
In the ordinary school we can get many friends, many new experience, new ideas, and mores!
But if you want your life ordinary without any obstacle, homeschooling is good for you.

If i ever had to choose one, it would be ordinary school. I agree with the idea that home school is for celebrities and their kids. I also think that being home schooled would mean that one would be under more strict rules and observation, so as to avoid the child or children being lazy. It also eliminates the child's ability to socialize and get along well with other people, without the whole issue of how they were brought-up, getting in the way. So if i had to choose one, it would most definitely be the ordinary school.

Hello andry. If it was up to me I would homeschool. Statistics here in the United states the kids that are home schooled have a better chance getting into the better colleges. They can learn at their pace and get individual attention when needed. The do get chances to interact with other kids. And the big one the parents can teach their own values. From what I see of the education here in my district the kids are not getting a good education. My grand kids are in the upper grades in public school and don't spell very well. They can;t even do simple math very well either. The kids that are home schooled can complete the work then are free. In public school they are held back by the other kids in the class room. Homeschooled kids can expand their studies in the subjects and areas that hold extra interest for them.
There is too much violence in the public schools here.

I think that children need to go to school otherwise they're not going to be able to learn how to act around other children. If they don't see other people then they're not going to know how to behave when they need to be around people for work or further education. I would never try home schooling, as I wouldn't want my child to feel as though they were on their own, as they wouldn't have other children to be around. It isn't good for them to only be around adults all of the time, as they're not going to be as good as children.

Being a newbie mom, I'm still too anxious about my child's education. I admit that I originally wanted my child to be homeschooled because I am scared to let her be on her own in an ordinary school. Some other kid might hurt her, or her teachers might not be able to care for her as much as I can. But then I knew I needed to set my thinking straight. This child has to learn bigger things outside of our home. She needs to socialize with other kids so she would grow up top be a person healthy not only in mental and physical but also in the social and emotional aspect. A child needs to have friends and be able to handle situations without the help of dependable mommy.
So there, however worried I am to give her some independence, I just enrolled her in a preschool last week. :D

I also only go to ordinary school because that's the only school option in my country. It would be great if we can home schooling because we don't need to go anywhere and everything is done at home also we can choose the schedule our self. But, i still think that ordinary school is better than home schooling. Why?, because by going to school we can meet with many people there, we also can make some friends and we also learn how to communicate with others. Ordinary school must be more tiring than home school, but the best part from ordinary school is we can meet with many friends there.

If its like college....if I had a job that I have to work under a schedule, I would definitely want home schooling so I can study and do my schooling work whenever they decide my work shift is over for the day or day off. Since I decide my schedule, I really would go for either one. Well, the one that will get me to finish my education fast, lol. For high school, I think I would go for ordinary schooling because I can talk to my friends and hangout with them, etc. I had done home schooling for a while when I my appendix exploded and it was kind of boring.

Here there is no option here. The children must go to school and they are not allowed to have the homeschooling. Since we are not professional teachers, so even if we know the subjects, but we may not know how to teach it for our children. And studying in the school is better because you can also make some friends and learn the social relationship in the school. This can not be learned at home.
I love China

I go an ordinary school too, a school with other students with actual teachers teaching me. I don't really like the idea of homeschooling, it's a bit lonely and intimidating with just you and the teacher at home. Homeschooling doesn't allow the child to make friends and truly experience the real world outside the comforts of their home. Kids need to learn to socialize and make friends. There are benefits to homeschooling like avoiding bullying and also learning in your own time and being more focused. But once they start working, they might not be familiar with how to deal with people and also confront the issues such as being discriminated against. The world is pretty ugly but as long as the kid understands and learns that it happens then they'll deal with it. So I reckon ordinary school is the way, kids get to learn in a school environment with other kids and find people with similar interests. It makes them more familiar with the world and makes them more clever I suppose. But it's not always the case, some home schooled kids handle the real world pretty well.

Never tried and experienced home schooling.I think ordinary school is more advisable cause it could help the student to be more interactive and sociable to others.Students can learn more and can explore the society he/she belong.

most people go to ordinary school of course. in my country, this is the only way for children to study. if you study at home, ok, there is no problem, but when you go to find work or something else, no one accept you. for me, to tell the truth, i really want to try the homeschooling, i think this way will allow me to study what i want to learn in my favorite way.

Ordinary school without a doubt. in home schooling the kids wont be able to get an experience of the real world enough, and they wont see the different cultures and views of the world either. also, being home schooled would be a very lonely life in my opinion. to me it would be way too boring lol, im very happy that I go to an ordinary school XD
