It seems like these are difficult times for a lot of people... family troubles, economic troubles, etc. crop up and many people like to escape into a good movie.
Please share the movies that make you happy and how and when you have used them.
What movies do you watch to make you feel better and why?
When have you used these movies in the past?
When and how should other people use them?

When i feel tired or i'm having any problems. First, i will pray to god that my problem quickly resolved properly. Second, i'm listening music. Third, i'm watching a funny movie. Yeah, that's important. If i'm watching a funny movie that will make us laugh dan forget the problems. Maybe you know more than me about a funny movie in your country. Because in every country has different cultures in the movie.

I like your order... Pray to be helped to feel better and to deal with what needs to be dealt with, listen to music and then watch a funny movie. And yes, all cultures have their own funny movies.

I have a bunch of movies that I watch to make me feel better. I love Disney's "A Christmas Carol". Then Willy Wonka, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Star Trek 3, The Journey Home, Beauty and the Beast, Soap Dish (that has me rolling on the floor every time!), Up Periscope, and so many more. If I don't feel like a whole movie I switch to the Disney Channel and watch "Phineas and Ferb." I'm a kid at heart so I will tune into the kids programs. Another great movie is The Emperors New Groove. I laugh so hard I cry at the part where the Emperor gets his head stuck in the hole and ends up with a mouth full of bats. Anything to make me laugh, because as they say laughter is the best medicine and it's true for me.

I tend to go back a little rather than upfront and new movies if I want to feel enjoyment.
I love National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. I own the DVD and they always do Christmas up right with a bang!
Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein. This one is a very good comedy although older movie it will keep you laughing with their antics!
Some of the newer movies 50 first dates, Somewhere in Time, Memoirs of a Geisha, Cold Mountain, And my all time favorite movie is Gone With the Wind. You can just lay down and relax and unwind with a movie.
I am waiting anxiously to go see War Horse as it comes out tomorrow but will wait til the new year to go see it. I don;t enjoy crowds over the holidays.
Happy Mylotting.

Thanks for all of the movies that you mentioned here...
Relaxing and unwinding with movie is indeed a good thing.
I am hoping that you like the War Horse when you see it.
I have not heard much about it still other than the promos.
Enjoy your holidays.

Thank you very much for a best response.
I am a movie buff and can have seen a favorite movie a hundred times and still find enjoyment and always seem to catch something in it I did not notice before.
My husband and I did go see War Horse Jan. 2nd it was an incrediable move and one I would suggest to anyone that has a passion of things coming true.
Have a wonderful day and happy mylotting!

It seems like comedies are what a lot of people turn to when they are needing some relief.
Thanks for sharing here.

To be exact it is not movies that makes me feel better, It is a drama series. The one that I really like to watch those Asian Drama Series, preferably the Korean Dramas. When I am down and I wanted to cheer up myself, I chose a Korean Drama and I can watch them online.

It is interesting to me that Korean Dramas help you feel better and not comedies. Thanks for participating here.
