when is the right time to use fireworks?

i hate when i heard fireworks during Christmas, it is because for me this is not the right time to use fireworks. because beliefs was using fireworks is during new year to avoid bad spirit came in during the new years come. that is why it is irritating to hear a fireworks during Christmas.
what is your idea about this?and why?

I believe they're okay when celebrating the New Year but only when they can be used safely. Of course Independence Day is okay too. Hmmm, I guess it depends on the holiday and your culture.
