yes nowadays in mainland all student must learn english before going to the university. several years ago mainland students started to learn english and now students begin to learn english from elementary school. before accepted by a university all students must pass the english examination. english is now widely used in commication and is a basic course for mainland students

learning languages i not a easy task, i have studied enlish for ten years but now my english is still very poor.
languages are like tools, the more tools you have the much easier life you are going to have.
my boss have lived in china for more than 20 years and now he can speak some basic chinese.
if you want to learn chinese it is also a hard task. wish you can succeed.

Learning abroad sounds like a good thing for me--a Chinese college student.Nowadays,as the improvement of technology among several fields, our world is becoming much smaller.More and more Chinese students leave their hometown for the foreign countries. In this way, they can improve not only this skill but also their ability of using English.
