I just want to plan to replace my old washing mashing after using it for ten years. I found many new model with so many features but I think I don't want to buy the front door ones since it consume lots of energy and will make my electricity bills blows. I think will go buy the top door model since energy savings and also the washing machine is lot cheaper. But still there are different models, seems I will go to buy the auto model but with timer function and anti restart ones, since it will not restart if suddenly the electric black out. How about you? Do you have experienced when decide to buy the washing machine?

I don't much about washing machine, I would definitely go look for the consumer report, or from those review websites to look for the ones most people would want them. Hopefully you can choose the one that value your spending altogether. Good luck on shopping on Christmas.

In 1988, I bought a washing machine, washing machines were new than, it was made by Voltas, semiautomatic model; we used it for 12 years, the spinner started giving trouble, it could not be repaired there due to lack of service centre and technician. I got a transfer to another city, bought a fully automatic Samsung machine; here I served till my retirement in 2006. When I came to my home city, we brought both of them here. The Voltas machine was lying in a room here. It is learnt that this company is not making semi-auto machines anymore; moreover there is no service centre here. Yesterday I checked it, opened it (I had an electronics shop, I used to repair appliances there during 1964-1968). I could recover 12 one rupee coins, 6 half rupee coins, few buttons, 2 sari-pins, 2 neck-tie clips, 2 safety razor blades inside it. I changed some parts, which were for some other make after little modifications; and I am happy it is alive after 11 years; I have kept this in the guest room. Professor Wishing you a merry X'MAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012 IN ADVANCE. Best of luck.

I bought a washing few years ago and I did some shopping around to find not only a better brand but one that didn't kill my pocket book. I looked into the front loader but decided that the top loader was cheaper and it has been working out just fine, so far so good. It does a pretty good job of washing the clothes and I've not had a problem with it. I also wash my clothes in cold water especially the colored ones which saves on electricity and wear and tear of the clothes. The cold water keeps the clothes in a much better condition and they last longer especially in this economy when things are expensive. I don't have a timer on my washing machine, when the cycle is finished the machine just stops, I don't remember ever seeing a washing machine with a timer, just the dryer.

Yeah, it is great decision to buy top loading washing machine. As per my experience, purchase Sonya Portable Washer Mini Washing Machine 12 Pounds is an amazing portable washing machine. The mini washing machine is light weight as it only weighs 50 pounds. It is also on wheels so you are able to push it easily. There is no hook-ups needed for the washer. I hope that you will by the washing machine that is totally right for you. I had a new kitchen fitted last autumn and needed to buy a new washing machine. I have my builder come with me to the shop in order to help me find the ideal new washing machine. We found a direct drive, very quiet washing machine with a large capacity for clothing. It was a good price so I bought it. They delivered it and my builder plumbed it in for me in my wonderful new kitchen. Good luck.

I also prefer top loading type instead of front loading. Why? because by using top loading we can control what we will do much more easily. When we load the laundry, there is no difficulty, just throw it in, and that is all. I also still choose the one without digital control (only analog timer) because it is also a lot cheaper and easier to repair if it is broken. Choose the one that cheap in price, easy to repair and energy saving.

Go for the top door model without the included dryer. This will save you more in your electricity bill because you'll never be dependent on the said machine in removing great amounts of water in the clothes :)
