has anyone ever visited the whitehouse in washington dc and if so what is it like

I have done the visit that they give to the public. I have been a couple times. It is huge and amazing. Everything is so elegant and beautiful. I wish they would have let us see more. It is hard to pay atteniton to all the beauty due to all the people that are there. I can't imagine living there, I would be afraid to touch anything.
