I think that the Mavericks can still go deep in the playoffs most especially in this shortened NBA season. But I would like to believe that this year is for the Bulls. DRose has a new buddy in RIP and the core of last year's 62 win team is still very much intact. Looking forward to a great and exciting NBA season :)

I am a Dallas fan ( but I am a big Celtics fan) but I don't think Mavs will reach the Finals this season, Tyson Chandler is a very big loss for the team because it is always the defense that is missing from that team that's why they weren't able to win Championship for so many years until last season. And now since Tyson Chandler is gone Brendan Haywood will take the spot he left and I don't think he can make an Impact the way Chandler does for the team, last season he always looks awkward and uncomfortable when he's inside the court unlike when he use to play in Washington Wizards.
I agree with you that this year is for the Chicago Bulls, they really have a big chance to be in Finals since Rip Hamilton is a very good complement for Derrick Rose dribble drive way of playing, that is if the perimeter shooting touch that made him the very dangerous player we know before is still there.
I hope Chicago Bulls defense's coaches/staffs can help Carlos Boozer improve his defense because he really struggle in that part of his game, He is such a powerful guy and if he can take advantage of that in both ends of the floor the Bulls will definitely be in the Finals.

Now I know the Bulls are a contender, but I simply dont think a team that bases his offense on a single player can win a championship. Either they can spread it a little and share the load or they cannto take it to the next level. I think the wear and tear of Rose was palpable last playoffs. And I dont like Rose much too. He is not a typical PG, but he has some skill. I consider him too gangsta! What do you guys think about the Rondo/Bass duo today (NY - BOS). Even tho the Celtics lost I think they played well. Rondo is the man!

I am a huge Celtics and Rondo fan, but I give the highest chance to the Heat. Clippers are a playoff team no doubt! They have a good roster, but I doubt they will perform well in the playoffs. They dont have much playoff experience. In the west I believe the Thunder have a good chance.
I hope other teams and players step up, so that the season is interesting. I hope Gordon Hayward (JAZZ) and Shelvin Mack (WIZARDS) play well. They are former Butler players and im a big Butler fan.
And I cheer for Jan Vesely also... Cause he is Czech and im from Slovakia, part of former Czechoslovakia.

Hey! I kinda adore Orlando as well and after the bust of trading Kendrick Perkins away which was a mistake I think adding Brandon Bass and Mickael Pietrus was a smart move. Jeff Green is gone... (Ha-Ha :/ considering the fact that the Celtics lost a reliable defensive center) Now I think that the last couple games (0-4) downright say whats going on. The Celtics are out of rhythm and someting needs to happen for them if they wanna be a top team again. As it is I believe they are going to take a 6-8 spot in the east. I think tho, that they are definitely a playoff team and their performance will improve in the playoffs. What do you think about the bench? Dooling, Stiemsma, Bradley, Wilcox and Daniels???

hi alechin I am huge celtics fan too, KG is my favorite player of all time but yeah I think it will be between D-rose' Bulls and Lebron's Heat who will represent the Eastern Conference in the Finals but I am still hoping that Boston can trade one of their forwards for a reliable center, I think the addition of Brandon Bass and Michael Pietrus is pretty good, Pietrus is a very good defensive player he can be their new Tony Allen who was an important piece of Boston before. They can defend Miami much better now they can use Pietrus to defend Lebron instead of using Paul Pierce (which can defend the shorter D-wade), because defending Lebron really affect Pierce explosiveness in the offensive end.
