United chance to back to Champion League

As we are aware that United has lost against FC Basel of switzerland at group stage of champion league lately.. However, there is one chance for them to get back to the champion league if the Swiss Football Association took no action on the club Sion until the deadline, FIFA sanctions on Swiss automatic freezing falls on January 14, 2012. With the punishment of freezing it, all elements of the Swiss football can not establish contact with countries outside the sport. This will be included FC Basel who should challenge Bayern Munich in the first leg in Basel, February 22, 2012. If Basel is disqualified due to freezing FIFA penalty is, theoretically it gives an opportunity for Manchester United (MU) appear again in the Champions League, to fill the position of FC Basel.

I guess that Manchester United should be win depend on themselves strength, if as you said United back to Champion League depend on other reasons, it will be an insult to Manchester United.

@henryhoney: Indeed I feel the same way as you are. For me, a team like United should qualify for Champions League without breaking a sweat. Nevertheless, the chance are too good to be true and I will be supportive if United is going to accept it.

I, for one, disagree if United is going to go into Champions League again. For me, it is better for United to win and qualify by themselves rather than taking opportunity on this matter. Nevertheless, if they are still going for it I will support them wholeheartedly because it is my team and chances of playing in Champions League is really much anticipated.
