As we are leaving 2011 (gosh,i am getting older),of course, we have some great ups and downs footballing moments to remember. Platini said that Barcelona v Manchester United in UCL final was the best match of the year. Classico 3 weeks in a row could be matches to remember and thin year was the golden year for Barcelona as they won 5 trophies( La liga,UCL,UEFA Super Cup,Spanish Super Cup and world Cup club).
Uruguay ruled Southern America as they won Copa this year. Players like Messi,Neymar, dubbed as the world`s finest footballers-didn`t show their best with their national teams. Venezuela, which never qualified for the World Cup made surprise by reaching semi-final. Even some favorites like Chile and Colombia had to leave early, like Argentina.
Any best football match or moments you can`t miss in 2011?Who do you thinik the world`s best player and coach in 2011?Please share yours..thank you

I think that Forlan deserve it due to his role in copa america , I know that he is now injured but I think in general that he is a great player and he always fights for his team

Forlan was pretty good in the copa america and in the world cup. But, as someone said above he was not at all good with his performance for inter .

I too think that Messi deserves the best player in 2011 . He has been terrific with his performance in Barcelona. He is the main player behind the success f Barcelona for more than 20 matches in this year .

To many, the world best player at the moment got to be Messi. He is simply amazing for Barcelona. But the same can't be said when he is donning the national colors. For that, I would put Xavi as the world best player. As for coach, I do not see anyone good for that. If based on trophies alone, Guardiola will be there.

I think Messi is well ahead of all other football players in 2011. Most memorable moment of football in 2011 is the successful return of Drogba, scoring a goal for Chelsea, after the most serious injury occurred in play ground colliding to a opposite team player.
