Last night, someone borrow money from me, to borrow three thousand yuan RMB, he is used to decorate a house, and the man borrow a lot of money. I have some hesitate to don't lend money to him. Because a few years ago, someone borrowed my money, there are one thousand yuan, haven't returned the money to me. If it is you, how do you decide?

That depends on where someone will use it. And depends whether the person is a really good friend of mine whom I am confident will give it back to me. Sometimes if my bestfriend were not able to return the full amount - that is fine and will be understood. But with others I won't let it happen and I might not lend someone whom I don;t really know or whom I feel won't pay me back. Money isn't so easy to get now. So we must be careful on who to lend it with and if you are gonna lend a money just don't lend a big amount. Perhaps you can help by lending him at least some amount. Surely people will understand if you can't give or lend so much.

Hello! You're right. If it is real good friend, he is difficult, I will lend a hand to help. But, now you have to borrow money, just regular people, even not have been friends.
But, as one of my ordinary relatives. I fear that he is not the money.
Thanks for your reply!

Hi Dong,
Well, I don't have large amounts of money to lend out. I have a policy that I only lend amounts of money that I can survive if it isn't returned or returned on time. Lending money, you are always taking the risk that the person won't or can't pay back as promised. If you are going to take the chance to lend someone a large amount of money then you should always get the agreement on how and when it will be paid back in writing and have it notorized. That way if the person fails to pay it back, you can take them to court. Without something in writing, it would be very difficult for you to do much of anything about it if they don't pay back.

Hello! You're right, I quite agree with your point of view. In my previous lend money, others didn't give me the money back. So, these two years, I don't how easily lend money to others. But now, and others to borrow money, let I can't decide. I'll consider. Thank you for your reply.
Happy every day!

I would decide based on need. If it were for food or clothing I would loan it a lot faster than for someone to decorate their home. I need my money too but I would help most anyone in need. I have also learned that money and friendship don't often mix very well. I am very cautious about loaning.
Take care and good luck with whatever you decide.

Well it depend how much is the amount and the person is to whom i have to lend money. If the person is trust worthy and the amount is not much then yes i would help otherwise i may think..

I will lend money if it is sure that i will get it back soon. If they people to whom we lend do not return the money then what is the need to lend them. I think it is better to give to orphanage.
What do you think?

I think I would lend the money if I know the person well or that I know enough about them (where they live, that they have a stable job, who their family is). I haven't lent any of my friends big amounts of money but I lent my mother some money that she isn't paying back but I can't really push her to pay me back either. I hope you have better luck with your loaner.

I loaned money many times. I gave loan to most of my friend who were really closed to me. I also felt hesitated to loan my money, because we wouldn't know whether our money was returned or not by them? I even hesitated to loan my money to my friend as well. I have loaned my money and I never get my money back until. We need to make sure that someone who loaned your money not promising a lot to return them to us but she was certainly sure able to return the money back. It is not just about promise but there must be certainty within you.

First and foremost, you should know the paying capacity of the one borrowing money from you. If you know that he has the capacity to pay, as he told you, then why not.
Though, when you lend be sure that you will not be needing it soon. Lending money is risky, it might not be returned on time as promised. So, when you lend it should be those really extra money of yours.

See, I can not make loans because I do not have much money, in fact, it takes all that already I can survive with what I have. However, in my opinion if I had been in a similar situation, when lends money to someone and don't returned, the next time surely I would avoid another loan "to lose"

Yes, I can lend money if I have extra and it depends on the character of the borrower. In short, it is a character loan I think. We should not think of borrower being so pathetic. We should always look for their character and the reason why they borrow. And most of all, we have known the person quite long.

I only lend my money to the people who I'm really close to. I know they will pay me anytime soon. So far, I don't have bitter experiences on lending money to others. Let's just be wise. Try to examine if she/he has the capability to return the money back to you. Happy mylotting!

Letting others to borrow money could possibly lead to some misunderstandings. It is important to make a contract so that there will be no problem to arise in the day of payment. Because sometimes circumstances may arise which will lead to not being able to pay. That is why I hate and I do not borrow money to others.
