If you don't celebrate Christmas, how was your day yesterday?
Where I work was close for Christmas so I got to spend it with my parents. We piled into their car and drove to my grandparents. I was surprised that my grandmother didn't get mad about my hair. In her world men with medium to long hair don't exist. I walked into the living room and there was my uncle. I haven't seen him in 10 years! He hasn't changed a bit though. Still the same old goof ball I remember as a kid. As a family we had dinner together. LOL I had so much to eat that day, I was nearly sick on the way home. It was a very good day.
So how was your Christmas? If you don't celebrate it, how was your day yesterday?

My girlfriend is fixing to move in with me. Kinda makes me wonder what it will be like next year. We will probably either go visit both of our families or she'll go visit hers and I'll visit mine. Then we'll have our Christmas that night. Lol or what ever she wants.

I spend at work unfortunately. But everyone brought something to eat and drink. It was fun to spend Christmas eve with my co-workers. My boss thought it was funny when I sat down at the table with a big plate of food. My boss said I reminded her of a family relative the would pile his plate as high as he could.
It was a really fun day for all of us even though we had to work.

This was the first Christmas without my Grandpa, so Christmas Day was a little different. We always celebrate Christmas Eve with my Mom's side of the family, and Christmas Day with my Dad's side. So since my Grandpa passed away earlier this year, we did not celebrate at his house, which is a first in my lifetime. But my uncle had people over and instead of a traditional American Christmas meal, we had an Italian course meal. And it was delicious. So, even though things were a little different this year, we made the best of it and still had a good time.

I know the different feeling all to well, my grandpa die at the beginning of the year. It was hard on the whole family this year. My family is 99.5% Christian. So my mother leads us in saying grace. I respect all faiths, religions and believes so I bowed my head as she started to pray. At the end, I'll never forget what happen, you could hear her starting to cry and she said, "Lord give my daddy a big hug for me". It made me miss my grandpa even more. Although it was "weird" not having him around. Deep in our hearts we knew he wasn't in pain any more.

I had a lovely christmas yesterday with my family, as usual. We do the same thing since I was a child, we have a very good christmas dinner and then we exchange gifts. I really like this time of year!

Children was playing. We called the friends and relatives who are staying at far off places. Even my parents are staying very far off places. This year Christmas was a day of Hanukkah so we All celebrated together. We had a little basic Christmas. A few gifts and a good dinner and then later that night I lit the menorah. It was a good day.

I celebrated Christmas or rather we celebrated it! In fact, we celebrate the last Christmas with so much fun. We want every Christmas to be happy and joyful each year and this year is no exception. Unlike you I have no more parents to celebrate Christmas with but I have siblings and nephews and nieces and their respective children to celebrate with. We had a lot of fun giving gifts to each other, eating bountiful food, and doing parlor games altogether. It was really a wonderful night. Our Noche Buena is not just rich with food on the table but rich with joy. The joy of knowing our Savior and the joy of having a happy Christian family,

My Christmas was fine. By it being on a Sunday I started it out by attending church. My immediate family didn't plan anything so I left church and went to visit my uncle in the nursing home. He was waithing for his kids to pick him up and take him to their home for the day. I come home and took a nap because I was sleepy. My daughter brought my gift over later in the evening. Then by the time I layed down again, it was night I got a phone called from my cousins asking me to come over so I did and I socialized with them for awhile. It was a good day and I thanked God for it.

My Christmas day was sleeping because my children who are college bolund go down to see my ex-n-laws. They said it was good time they get to see there nephews and nieces too. I work two jobs so to have off and sleep was wonderful to say the least.
Now I am back to work and the old grind and wishing I was back home sleeping again (lol) and the food was really good this year we did the a lot different fishes for Christmas eve dinner.
Thanks unique16

Christmas was what it was this year. In reality it was pretty good but I think that it snuck up right on me and breezed right by me to say the very least. There are going to be a lot of times where this has happened in years past, but Christmas was really just something that just fell slightly flat. There was a wonderful time of the year, but just seemed to lack a bit of the spirit as it did.
Could it be me getting older? Perhaps in a way, or perhaps it was just the year that was 2011 and being distracted by other things. I don't think it was bad, in fact it was good but there were more exciting and wonderful Christmas days. Oh well, every year can't be absolutely one hundred percent on track. Still mostly good but not completely on task for some reason.

Christmas day was ok for me. It didn't really feel like it was Christmas though. I guess mainly because I'm getting older. It seems like it's more exciting for the kids now, like it was for me when I was younger. It basically felt like any other day overall.
