All of goods Imported ?

Indonesia is a poor country, but I feel weird...All the stuff that I used was imported. Such as....pen, dolls, shoes, books, fan, blades, jar,.... almost all goods. Imports from China,....Even, The rice that I eat was imported from Vietnam and Thailand.
Whether, it is that make us poor, always been consumers.
How about in your country ?

Hi, Luckygrey. I feel sad read your post. It shows that you seems hate your country.
In my opinion, almost in the whole world are so many goods imported from other country cos each country doesn't process it from the basic material up to ready used product. Sometimes, the country doesn't has the complement material to process it so it is better to sell it, whether this country will buy the ready used products later. It is related with the money got and regulation used.
Actually, there is still our own products sold, such as in the traditional market and certain stores. But some person tends to chose the imported products to buy cos of their prestige in using them. It is psychological problem.

Yes...you right, I hate to my own country.....I think, the government was wrong to implementing regulation about export-import....as serve as project by the leaders to get personal benefits.
There are many cases in Indonesia about those term.

There are so many corruption in other countries too, so does in this country and blame the government will not give any good result if you don't have any position either on legislative or executive position on this country. So, the best way in facing it is by doing the vise verse of those bad regulation. Give them the good example so other people will imitate your good behavior and the government will see it and do the same things as you did.

Not all goods are imported. Mostly. That is true that everything we consume is from other country. Remember also that other countries use other countries' goods. The reason for this is when a country signs trade agreement to another country. Or when a country becomes a member of World Trade Organization. Despite of that, it would be good if we citizens of our own country utilize and use our own products.
