Throughout the year of 2011 has been made ??Van Persie scored 34 goals in the Premier League. With this amount he had only just closed to within two goals from Alan Shearer as Premier League top scorer in a calendar year. Because Arsenal still have two games remaining in this December, against Wolverhamton and Queens Park Rangers, Dutch footballer could a new record when scoring three more goals. Considering the very high productivity in recent years, it is possible to achieve these targets for Van Persie, except 'prevented' by Arsene Wenger himself who plan to rest him. Fearing that his players would be injured, Wenger plans to rest the Dutchman footballer. what do you think about it guys?

Wenger gave him the chance to play against the Wolves. Unfortunately, Van Persie was off color and missed a lot of scoring opportunities. I think he will start again against QPR. I do not think Arsene Wenger will deny him the chance to play that match. But Wenger is right, January is going to be another hectic period for Van Persie as the African contingent from Arsenal will go for the Cup of Nations. Cheers! Ram

Three more goals, one more game left. The chance of RVP breaking the record is very slim. I don't think he will score a hat-trick against QPR. But I won't bet against it.
