Spinters and Bachelors .... what does prophecy say!

In the beginning God made them male and female. I believe that since the woman came out of the man, there must be a matching man for every woman. But many are not married.... where are their men or women....? Population statistics vary in most countries but can be thus summarised: in some countires, there are more males than females, in others there are more females than males (I have never taken time to add up and see what the total world population would say on gender). But the Bible says in Isaiah 4, many women would cling to one man begging just to be married... I believe in prophecy. Polygamy had been inexistence before the prophet wrote this. The current situation on earth seems to define a dimension polygamy cannot hold. Is Isaiah 4 being fulfilled in our days or what could be responsible for the high volume of spinterhood/bachelorhood and what should be done!!!!!

Consider that even Jesus said there are those who are not able to receive His instruction regarding marriage (Matthew 19:5-12) and Paul said "So then he that giveth [her] in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth [her] not in marriage doeth better." (First Corinthians 7:38) Not everyone needs to marry to fulfill the laws of God, from what I see in the Bible. As to the verse in Isaiah, I think that means that a woman will be desperate for help and security so that she will marry any man because she thinks he will be her security. At the time the verse was written, women were not allowed to own property or to do business like men did, so if they were alone, they had a very hard time of things (Ruth and her mother in law Naomi lived in a cave until Ruth married Boaz!). When hard times came, a woman needed a man to survive. In our modern world we don't see it quite that sharply, but still the need can be there.
