I really love brownie the goeyness and chocolate flavor of it makes my day.Recently I have stumbled into a website that talks about a albino version of brownies I was interested so I read it and it was called Blondie, at first i was hesitant to make it knowing that it only uses Brown sugar instead of the chocolate/cocoa powder of the brownies and it is missing something. The website also mentioned that for some reason the Blondie is overshadowed by its cousin the brownie due to popularity.
As the day pass by I open my fridge and saw that I still have some butterscotch sauce left that i made last christmas eve.I ate a spoon of it and realize that Blondie might taste like butterscotch because that website say so.So i hurriedly put my apron and start making them, I was shocked, happy, delighted, and overly joyed that it went out great the bars have this distinct butterscotch flavor that my family really liked.
I also drizzled some of the butterscotch sauce on the bars and it was absolutely perfect.

I think it could be a lighter cookie compared to brownie, It would be needing sauce though. If it has some nuts I would love it, I can eat anything with nuts on it.It reminds me a bit of "food for the gods"another cousin of brownie. I can also see this doing well with some dried fruits and berries as toppings.do you prefer them thinner or thicker?

Well actually food for the goods is a blondie with dates and walnut on it, you can also add chocolate chips or dried fruit like what you mentioned. They are the same with brownie the color is the only thing that is lighter but calorie wise just the same (almost). It is better if its thick and goey...

That sounds delicious! I've never had brownies but I think I will have to look up a recipe for them now. I know sometimes they make brownies and put chocolate chips in them. I bet those would be delicious too.
Your family is lucky to have you cooking for them.
Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

Blonde brownies are delicious. Like you said it is the brown sugar that makes it take great. If you want a taste of chocolate in your blond brownies, just add a cup of chocolate chips. It gives it a nice change of pace too.

I think you could make a white chocolate variation, then perhaps it could be called whitey

I love Blondies :) Well actually I'm not really into chocolate brownies that much, so when I found out about Blondies I made them a million times - love them! Add some chocolate chips and everyone is happy.
Adding butterscotch sounds yummy. You can add a lot of things to Blondies!
