So many cockroaches...

It flooded in our neighborhood so my mom was worried that one of our septic tanks became full so she checked it and took out the cover of the small hole and out comes dozens of cockroaches, big and small, winged and non winged. We were so shocked, since we were both afraid of them- and even the insecticide took a few minutes to kill them so some already crawled away. I've never seen that many cockroaches before, thought it only happened in sci fi / thriller films...and the like. Gosh they run and fly so fast and are very hard to kill.

Years ago, my home was also full of them but now not single can find because my cat kill them with his mom. I think you can adopt a cat, this is the first option. Next option you may use DDT but beware no touch with food. Its dangerous. have a nice time.

I think DDT is not a good option because it can effect your health.

SO a cat also kills those roaches, in addition to rats, shibham. So, it's indeed good to keep a cat at home. But usually we only spray on those roaches and they die.

Girl if I had seen that many roaches I would've ran. I don't know what I would've done, I hate those bugs, and creepy crawlies, just yuck.

I hate them too- just imagine all those dark and dirty places they have been and they look very scary too. I thought a bout hiding first but then the first thing to do is kill them so they can't harm us..

Good thing you weren't in my position. At first I was so shocked too and I even screamed like a little girl a bit.. when i was little I was very much afraid of them and I don't move, just call my parents to kill them.. now, not so much..

These insects preferred damped places, so when the area got flooded they gets out to look for safety.Be careful with these insects because they crawled in dirty places where bacteria are present that can cause diseases.

Don't try to kill them. There are traps that they go into, eat the poison and then go and spread it in their nests and die. I buy them in supermarkets.
