Vertically Challenged
We've heard of expressions such as "Height is Might" "Small but terrible" "cute and petite" "tall as a model" "runt" and so forth. They say the genes makes the difference while others say its vitamins and food we take in. Whatever, we are more often than not told that we should thank God for whatever He has given us including the height he gave us to be. But human nature being what it is, there seems to be a lot of people who wish they were taller or shorter. It is said that short people of both sexes or those who are vertically challenged are so conscious of their lack in height that they tend either to be more aggressive and go to the extremes to excel in as many areas as they can as though to make up for their lack in height or maybe to prove that their height does not in any way detract from their abilities and in the process seem to have a superiority complex or they can be so timid as a mouse feeling so inferior because of their short height. This tendency is not as common among those who are taller than average although some could also be either flaunting their height or be self conscious about it too but not feel insecure about it. I know a lot of short people who really are very aggressive and act so superior to everyone but i think deep inside, such attitude may be caused by their intense feeling of being vertically challenged. I may be wrong but do you have friends who are short? have you noticed how they act or carry themselves

Well I'm short (4'11) and I don't think I'm aggressive nor do I try to act superior. I actually love my height even though it is hard to find pants that aren't too long. I have many friends who are short like me and I don't think they act like this. Maybe a few do but I'm not sure if it's because of their height. From what I noticed though it seems it's more men that want to be taller if they are short than women. I guess because what I noticed girls want the guy to be taller and if you're a short guy, you may think girls won't like you because you're short.

Well, I am 6' 4", so most everyone is shorter compared to me.however, most shorter people I know are quite happy being short, and as for me, I am quite happy being tall!!!
