Significance of Knowledge in Computer

Computer is one of the products of technology. It plays a vital role especially for a student just like me. It is truly important that I know how to use the computer because many projects and activities rely on the usage of computer. Although many said that they had survived in the past without computer, still I strongly believe that there is an extreme significance of having knowledge in computer. Past is past. We are in a modernized world. We should not be left behind by the rapid evolution of technology.
I am very lucky to have a laptop on my side. I can train myself about the online world through the use of my laptop. I presume that in the near future, there will be a massive transformation or modernization of the online world. I believe that we must be suited by the knowledge about computer in order to go with the flow in the near future.
My dear friends and fellow mylotters ,what can you say about it? What do you think is the significance of knowledge in computer?

In today's day and age, knowing how to use a computer becomes more important every single day. You see, I first started to learn to use a computer when I was eight years old, prior to that, I'd never seen a computer or used one. My children started to learn to use the computer when they were about two years old and my daughter uses a computer at school on a daily basis. I figure that by the time she is in high school, computers will have fully replaced books.

Computer has been part of our lives. Even a young kid nowadays already knows how to use computer. There hardly any persons who don't have a facebook account. With that, we can say that computers are one of the great invention in this world. We can watch movies on it, listen to our favorite songs, do our research, make friends, and earn money. We can do almost everything in computer. That is one reason that computer subjects have been already included in the curriculum.

Well, I absolutely agree with you on this topic. We should know at least a bit of variety of application usage, and the basic knowledge of computer too. I for myself, shame to say, I had used computer many years, but I have to tell you this, I actually not know much about the operation of it, when it comes to problem with the software, I barely know what to do. I should spend some time to learn more about it.

I think as time passes, knowledge in computers is becoming more and more of a necessity for people to be able to cope with the constant evolution of the world.
Personally, I feel my knowledge in computers is well above average. I'm also pursuing a degree and career in Software Engineering. This requires me to know alot about computers and the way they work.
My grandfather, who had no idea how to use a computer, started learning and using computers awhile ago. I would say he is now a bit below average if I'm to rate his computer knowledge. He is, however, still learning, and I'm encouraging him to do that.

Yeah,for students who major in the field of IT,like me,we almost can't live without a computer.Using a computer,I can write computer programs,listen to music,watch movies,chat with my friends(just like here in mylot),scan views on the web,download useful materials,etc.Computer provides me witha wide area of what I can do.Therefore,it's important for me to have certain knowledge in computer.However,sitting too long before a computer may be harmful to one's health.But now I often do like this.So I should then get more exercise during the use of computer.

computer is playing a pivotal role in the life of peoples, it is helping people both in domestic and professional front. peoples these days are much associated for their subsistance on computers. and in the near future too its going to help them too...cheers

Computers are a wonderful thing, they have opened up the world and I am afraid anyone who does not take it on will be left behind, they are a very complex thing but I see friends of mine being able to build and fix all problems without ever going to school to learn, in the past people would have to do an apprectiship or go to a college to learn such things but these clever people are just picking it up themselves with the aid of their computers,

Wow. You've got the point. For me, computer is really important in our lives because of the growing technology which leads to new inventions. We need to have knowledge about the computer specially the students and the young ones because in the near future, I think it would be hard to apply a job without the basic knowledge of computer. Everybody needs and wants to use computer to make the work be done easily.
