Hello Devilove. I am in my sixties and in all my years I have only had one real nightmare. I was working as a resident manager at a halfway house for the mentally ill. I watched a horror movie about mentally ill in an asylum and how they were treated and how they took revenge on the nurse and Drs. and other keepers.
I was so scared that when I finely woke up I couldn't move for a long time. It didn't affect my life or the way I felt about the residents in the home. They were my friends.
I don't often dream and remember the dreams when I do. I have not been awakened by a dream since then.

I have had many such dreams. I do not like them. Sometimes it is like they are so terrible that they nag at your brain and emotions all the next day. It takes awhile to try to forget them when they are that bad! And sometimes I have dreams that mean things so it is difficult to sort out what is a bad dream and what is a warning dream!

I experienced nightmare a couple of times before, some are true some are not, but we can avoid nightmares through prayers and have Faith in God so that you can sleep well the whole night and wake up with no worries. God bless

Certainly I have had nightmares, but a nightmare is not going to have any overall effect on my life.
The odd thing about nightmares is that often they seem to bear no relation to anything that we have experienced recently, so it is difficult to imagine why the mind is pondering on such bizarre thoughts.

I experienced having nghtmares a couple of times before. It was when I knew I am dreaming, and I could not even move. All I see is all black. What I do is I try my best to move even though I know it was just a dream. Luckily, I was able to move and wake up from that nightmare.
