Sleeping the multiples of 1.5

I've heard that if you sleep the multiples of 1.5, eg 1.5 hours, 3 hours, 4.5 hours then you'll feel fresh all the time. Can this be true, and why?

I've heard of this too - though I don't know any more about it. We kept that in mind with our children napping time (well, when they were babies) - and that seems to be true. Our kids have always woken up from their naps at 1.5 - 3 hours - isn't that funny - and it was like clockwork that they did that!! Like I said, I know nothing about it from a scientific point of view, but definitely there's something to it!

stowyk May be so!! There are times my son had to wake up at 45 minutes or even a half hour or whatever (less than 1.5 hours anyway) and those nights usually end up to be "hard" nights. I would love to let him nap til he gets up on his own because he would otherwise be a good sleeper, but as the second child, he has to get out of his nap so we can pick up his older sister from school etc etc.

I don't know if this can be true. We all have a different bio ritme and need of sleep. I only know that the hours you sleep before midnight counts extra (you rest the most) and women and kids should sleep 10 hours at least (that way they are slimmer too)
