Can article writing be a career?

Yes, absolutely. Doing it full time - or part time - at home, you can earn as much as you want, pretty much. That's a long-term view, of course, and depends on whether you're a good writer, etc.
I've been freelance writing/editing for three years and make a decent income, part-time. Like most things, it just takes perseverance and a bit of research/knowledge to get started!

Some people are like to write articles. And some people are not. In the case we can't say it will be hard to them. Some people think it is a hard work and some people are do not think in that way...

Hi Zadeer, if you are writing for the newspaper, you can definitely make good money from article writing.
If not, you can sign up at Constant-content, and sell your articles there.
however, they reject articles with imperfect English.
if you are talking about writing for passive income, it will take a very long time before you have enough money to live comfortably.
Even getting a hundred dollars per month is very hard.
