Made $7 on myLot!

A few minutes ago my earnings were updated. I made almost almost $7 on myLot in such a short time. I joined the site a few months ago, but got busy for months. I returned and got active only several days ago, and I'm already close to the minimum cashout!
I'm very happy with this site. It allows us to make money by doing things we do everyday! Except on myLot we get paid for it!
What do you think of my progress? What tips do you have on making more money here?

First of all, I congratulate for your $7. Frankly, I initially did not really care about how much $ will I be able to for each post. all I do is just make some discussion and respond some of them, and make friends as well as facebook, of course.
but after I read what you post today ... wow ... whether it could be? I mean, to get so much $ in just for a few posts. and after I see some response from this discussion, it seems indeed possible to get it. It's not about how much we write, but the quality of what we write.
well, I was just a few days here and try to actively as possible and I just get under a dollar, I wish to reach that amount too..

Look at it this way, if you write one responses with the quality of ten small/low quality ones you will get paid more than you would if you wrote ten small/low quality responses.
Try to think of it as if you're showing the people how well you can write and you should succeed!

Quality discussions, I believe, have the potential to earn you more. Simply because of the responses people would make and how much comments you could get on each comment.

Well, well done! I have 3.42 and have been a member for quite some time but I don't stay active for very long. I keep forgetting about mylot and when I remember I am just too busy. I don't really do the discussing thing too well. I see how you make such an amount with not many post as you respond to all your responses in your discussions and have an actual discussion unlike most people. I never really start discussions except when I started here. I don't really think of anything interesting to say and then I forget to reply to the responses. Good luck for the future.

I know many get few or no responses. I too don't respond to every discussions after being on mylot for an hour or so their are no recent disscussions that I have interest in so I stop until the next day. I might make a discussion today or tomorrow and comment on all the responses. Thank you for wishing me good luck and happy mylotting to you too!!

I was just like you when I joined here. At first I posted several discussions, then I kind of just lost interest and stopped posting. Now, however, I try to think of new, interesting things to discuss.
I don't respond to every discussion out there, but the ones that interest me. This way I manage to keep my responses interesting and make the discussion live to it's name.
You also have to know which kind of people are on myLot. Not everything can be discussed here, some discussions get zero responses due to them not being understood by others.

Sometimes I would mistake a hard task for an easy one. If you have the time to spare check out a task and give it a shot. It might be easier than you think it is.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. But I think you're asking which kind of tasks pay more, the easy ones or the more difficult ones. This is completely dependent upon the task creator. I suggest you look into it yourself. Some creators are cheap, and offer small rewards for completing their tasks, even if they're difficult. Others are fairly generous and can reward you with lots of money for doing something that isn't that difficult.

I don't have any referrals. I tried referring some people here but I wasn't lucky to get them convinced that myLot is a great way to spend free time.
I do participate in tasks whenever I can. Some tasks, however, I cannot do, some aren't even valid (broken links, etc.).
With 600+ posts you should've made that much long ago. Try to keep your discussions interesting, make sure your comments are of a high quality and ENJOY YOUR TIME!

I don't try to throw as many words as I can because I know it would turn out rubbish and would be worth nothing. I look at discussions that really interest me and respond to them in the best way I can. My responses usually turn out quite good due to my interest in the subject.
Most of the times I don't find anything extraordinarily interesting in the discussions sections, so I start my own. I always keep in mind, though, that my discussion subject must be interesting to others as much as it is to me.
That is pretty much my strategy here. Hope I helped you Queen_11.

Well, all your posts, whether discussions or responses, should be written in a well organized matter. You shouldn't post very short spam posts as they would get you nowhere. Try to make your posts as interesting as possible to extend the discussion going on.

That is fabulous! I have never made that much money that fast here, but it does not matter to me as I greatly enjoy being here and I know that I have friends here that I would never have had if I hadn't joined this site. Do you also do the tasks that are here?

Yes I do. I did several, but I don't count on tasks as sometimes there are none that I can do. I do some every now and then though.

I am thinking that you wrote tons of comments and opened loads of discussions as well as uploading photos (maybe) and doing tasks otherwise I can't realise how you earned so much with so little number of posts.

You shouldn't be posting one word or low quality comments. Your comments should be well organized. You should also try extending the subject as far as possible.
Hahaha I asked of how I could maximize my profits, yet I ended up explaining to people how they can do that!

Well the number of post doesn't counted it's how you make it make every bit of your post more interesting. I have been in my lot for almost 2 years I guess and I just keep on searching for quality and interesting post if you might just notice in this type of discussions there are very few people who comment with 10,000 post it is very rare to see them here. They are those people who spend time on other discussion aside from this earn money discussions or interest.

I do believe that you earned that $7 in here through doing myLot tasks. Those tasks are really a great way to earn in here. I think 78 posts won't merit you up to $7. But I browsed your profile and saw that you've got a lot of discussions in there. I think that is also where the bulk of your earnings come from. As you can see, the post counter only adds up when you comment on other myLotter's discussion. You will get to earn two post counter with your discussion once it received a reply from another myLotter. So having only 78 posts and a nice earning can be possible at that. Go reach for the minimum payout! I think you can successfully hit it head on if you try to put in more discussions and fill them up with quality responses and posts! Keep up the good work dude!

As you said, I comment more on responses under my discussions than I respond to other discussions. I try to keep my discussions of the best quality here by responding and extending the subject wherever I can.
I hope I get to my minimum payout soon.

You're so great.You've made much more money than I do.I guess you must have often got a reward for as high as 10 cents or even more per post.I've tried to organise my words and respond carefully,but only 1 or 2 cents per post.Although it's not my first purpose to make money here in mylot,but if there is opportunity to make more money than I currently do,I'd love to seize it.Can you tell me something about your experience on earning $7 with fewer than 100 posts?Thanks a lot.And I hope that you'll earn more and more in mylot!

Try to do some tasks they tend to help.
I don't respond to other people's discussions that much, but I think I should do it more. I'm not sure how much I make per post, but I don't think it's that high.
Just try to keep your discussions and responses, just like you said, of a high quality and you should be fine.

Hey people, I got on mylot since like 4 weeks now but, never thought earning could be as easy as it's made to appear. Honestly, coming back today after such a long break and mostly with reading comments on just two of Sum1PassingBy(78), think am having a rethink about the whole thing.
Then, can I ask one sincere question?
I got turned off because my first time in here I wanted badly to make a post but to discover I needed some url to get it up. I did not know how to get this I surfed the site and everything I read did not quite explain it to me. I mailed the admin and till now am yet to get the response I desire.
Can someone help me with how I can get the 2 url so I too can have fun at it's brim in here?

I'm not sure how to add URLs to discussions. But I'm sure more experienced people can help you more than me here. For the moment try to post discussions that do not involve URLs until someone lets you in on how to solve your problem.

First and formemost congragulations man for your great start here..You are making great headway and keep up the good work. I am new to this site too and it is a great way to earn money doing stuff you like.. As for advice for you I think you should give all of us advice ;)
But keep making good valuable posts wherever possible and also keep looking at the tasks dashboard regualrly as you should not miss out on any high paying tasks as the tasks are the best way to earn money quick money..
As for me, I think I am doing pretty well too and I have been here for around 25 days.. I have earned around 12 $ by posting and doing some tasks. Cant wait for my first payout on Jan 15 th. Cheers :) Happy Mylotting

Congratulations! I have been active in mylot for about a month now..I am also asking some of my friends about some tips in making more money here and they told me I should post discussions, comment on them and respond on others discussions.. As of now i earn $6.. way far from $10.. but I am hoping to achieve the minimum payout..
I usually do some tasks that I can.. and that's it..I just enjoyed mylot so much!

$6 is pretty good compared to most people who kind of just lose interest and never reach the minimum payout.

I do try to keep my discussions of top quality by responding to about every single response. It's not that easy, but it's a bit fun.
I also try to keep my discussions interesting and not post anything that's regularly asked/discussed. I'm not sure how good I'm doing though.
I like commenting alot. Although I don't have that many responses I think I've been very active here the past several days. I posted a handful of fairly successful discussions, and tried to make them live to the name of a discussion and not just a question with answers.

I have provided lots of tips in other responses. I suggest you check them out as there is no point of repeating myself over and over again.
I also suggest you read the FAQs and Guidelines carefully as they contain a handful of hints and tips on maximizing your earnings.

Your responses have to be of much better quality and be better organized. These factors are very important in determining how much you get for each response.
I also keep my discussions alive by extending the subject in every single response. I try to answer only the discussions I'm interested in, so that my responses are of a high quality.

It's just 5 weeks ago since I've sign up with mylot. I really enjoy here in mylot because aside from sharing what you know and doing some tasks you will earn something from it. I think you should make that "The better you write the more you earn". It's not about how much you write, it's all about the quality.
I found some discussions to be more like a simple question, and some people just answer with these long incomprehendable responses that make no sense at all. Throwing random words together and deciding to post it as a response will get you nowhere buddy.
Just respond to discussions you are really interested in to make you post the best, most qualitative response you can.
