Is it just me or does anyone else get annoyed when people publicize their every movement on their facebook status? I mean like "I just had a bowel movement gotta get to my computer or phone to anounce it" is pretty rediculous. As well as there are no bounderies for what people will post. Why don't I just anounce to the world that I just had a huge fight with my husband, I better do it now while I'm angry so I can bad mouth him enough and before he can! I have seen people putting things that I personally would be humiliated if everyone I knew read about if it happened to me. Why does facebook make people so open about their personal lives that everything has to be noted. It's not like when your walking down the street you would tell people these things walking by so why do it on facebook?

LOL!!! People actually announce their bathroom business? wowsers! I had a fb friend post pictures of her pee (part of a pregnancy test) and I thought I've seen it all. I guess now, haha.
I just share pics and joke around on my fb, or post family pics, since it's really only family and close friends on my list.

Hmm...they better be careful what they post, then, talk about immaturity. Hey, I'm all for laughs and jokes but some things should definitely be kept private.

It does drive me absolutely crazy! I have no idea why people do this. And your right you wouldnt tell people on the streets all about your life so I dont understand why people do this. Makes no sense to me. I barely ever even go on there because it annoys me. The last time I was on was when my cousin had a baby to see pics of him...

I think it IS really annoying. And it has come to a point where people try to blurr out boundaries already. On what needs to be broadcast on a social networking site.
That's why I subscribe to Jimmy Kimmel's National Unfriend Day (NUD) on facebook. It's one day a year (or in my case, I've tried to do it more times) where we can 'unfriend' people who post annoying status.

Oh yeah! there are really people who keep on posting any movements they make which is like, "Duh! do you have to tell the whole world what your every move is?"
Enough about the spaces you make in posting, just make a post when it is more important to share! That's why I don't like much of facebook, I only have that for chatting with friends who became distant and who lives far away. It's a way of connecting people but then it doesn't mean you have to tell every single movement you make, isn't it? well, people are people, they do what they want. Sometimes they know what is right but then they do what is wrong...

Yeah when fb arrived it was fun, but now I only use it to talk to old friends and plan parties/events. I really don't use time playing games and promote myself haha. I feel the same as you, why do people have to tell their every movement. Have a life, go out and breathe some fresh air, cut a treeman or whatever you want. Or have some nice discussions on mylot ;)

Ha Ha...you are right...
Some times it's very annoying when somebody say "I am going to home" and then after 15 minutes he write "I have caught the bus."
Some times when we log in after a long time we miss many post of some important things as we see many posts in line and we loose our interest in those after reading 50-60 posts.
I usually post important things there and try to avoid posting personal things. If I come across something important or if I like something on internet then I post there and that's what my friends expect from me as they want to know the things which I am taking interest into.
Thanks.

well yes its true that most of the times those facebook updates are annoying. Facebook became an outlet for people to share their thoughts and become too over board. What i did i set privacy on my facebook account and shows only the people i like to hear about so it wont flood on my wall.

Everyone has the choice what to do in facebook. Status is there fr us to use or not to use. I do use it but not what i am doing in the day. If i have a bad day i do post it or there is something i want to say.
I have friend that occasionally updated her status and it keep my inbox because of its status...
She is in mobile so she is always updating it anytime she can.
Not annoyed of it but if its too personal... i just ignore it.

That is going to far. I would be embarassed to give that much detail to the world. I wonder if people who post bowel movements are trying to make people laugh or are serious about offering this distastful info. You have to wonder "What are people thinking". Or are they thinking at all! Facebook is slowly fading out of my life. I remember statying away so long my account was cancelled and I had to sign up again. I prefer Mylot because you can post comments on anyones discussions not just friends. People take time to think before they talk on Mylot and I appreciate that.
Don't want to talk about random BS!!!

When I first joined Facebook, most of my friends were like that. I'm just glad that they stopped doing it... Well, some of them are still doing it, unfortunately. But right now, they would either post status or quotations about relationships as if they aren't in one, religious quotes then you'd see them bashing a person right after, and of course the endless bragging about the new item that they've got.
I could bear with it, but it gets tiring at times...

LOL...were you reading my mind? I was thinking of the same thing...Why oh Why??? I guess they have nothing else to do. That's not even funny to begin with as a matter of fact is disgusting and gross. I once had a friend who got engage to a guy. Then after a couple of days later she posted a picture with her and another guy before the engagement as they were going out with some friends. Then one of her friend from the list responded 'Is it that awkward moment?" and her fiance happened to be on the list as well and he responded what awkward moment? And the poor girl didn't respond because c'mon she just got engaged. I on the other hand, was very ridicule by the incident and everyone told that guy who responded to watch his words before responding. The post was then deleted. This could've called off the engagement eventhough there was nothing like that at all. So yah, we need to watch our words when posting anything on facebook; it might effect others.
