Birthday's close to Christmas - tiring!

My daughter was due Jan 3rd, and some people kept telling me maybe she would be a Christmas baby or New Years Baby. I kept saying NO! I wanted her to come as far away from the holidays as possible so she could have her OWN birthday - not share it with a holiday.
She ended up coming a week late - January 10th. I thought YAY! This is about 15 days after Christmas and 10 days after New Years. Even though her birthday is not ON the holiday, it is still very tiring to plan her birthday.
First of all - gifts... I feel like I just bought her all this new stuff and she just got stuff from other family members - she's all set for awhile if you ask me. Yet now her birthday is just around the corner and she will be getting MORE gifts. People who just gave her Christmas Gifts are already asking what to get her for her Bday. I'm out of ideas b/c she already has all this new stuff.
Second - planning the actual party is tiring. I wanted to make my own food, cake and decor, but the closer it gets the more lazy I get. I wish now I had started working on this earlier!
Finally - cleaning the house. I used to leave my Christmas Decor up for a few weeks, but now I have to take them down New Years Weekend so I can get the house ready for her birthday party and photos the following week. Yikes!
So anyone else have their children close to the holidays? How do you manage the gifts, planning and cleaning? Any tips or suggestions that I can use to make this less exhausting?

I have a couple of birthday coming up but I look at as a bit of a blessing as there are a lot of things on special right after Christmas which means I can buy more presents, so they end up getting more than they normally would...
