The bonus money at the end of year

At recent days, issue "The bonus money at the end of year" is discussed too much on newspaper.
I have heart that the highest bonus money is 55000 USD and the lowest bonus level is 22.65 USD. Between the two levels have very large differences!
This is unfair or not?

We don't know the word bonuses, but we know the word allowances. In each company, people will get allowances in the end of the year if he or she belongs to people who celebrate Christmas and Happy New Year. Other religion will get their allowances based on their celebration days. Each people get allowances different in times.

In our country, allowances would be provide workers during year. All workers could have allowances for travel or renting house etc...Bonus give you at the end of the year.

I think in today's economy, people are lucky to even get a bonus. Now most bonuses are based on performance. I believe a bonus is incentive to do higher quality & quanity work. The sad thing I've noticed is the people at the top get more money then the people who really do the work. It doesn't seem fair but that's why we are pushed so hard to perform. I would rather get a small bonus check and have a job then get a huge bonus check and get laid off because the can't afford the staff. Best Wishes!

The salary is quite low in our country. So, all people expected to bonus at the end of year. If the company didn't get much profit, this bonus money will be very low. However, almost of companies try to pay this bonus to encourage their staffs.

Definitely is not fair. But that also determined by whether you are full time employee or part time employee. Or whether you dedicate your time and energy for the success of a particular corporation. I don't get much from this year's bonus, but at least I get some money into my pocket. I don't have much to complain though. Let's work harder and hopefully I will get more next year.

The world is never fair to begin with, if fair, there are no rich and poor and the highest and lowest something. However, if always fair, then the wholly world would be never get improvement. So humans should be learn more and improve themselves. Competition here, there is progress, right?
