Music is written usually based on emotion not hard to understand that it causes us to feel emotion when that is exactly what it is supposed to do. When I was young I was a singer (not any more) and I know the best performances were the ones that made the audience feel emotion. When it happened, it meant I had connected to the audience not only with the song but with the performance. Like you, when I or even my hubby can't sleep we listen to music and many times through accessing Youtube on our plasma television or from one of the video music channels we have access to. I'm have a short sleep cycle all my life and it is one of the things I do to relax and go to sleep. Enjoy the moments when you connect to the music and the musicians. I know they appreciate it when you buy the music and let them know you love it! Keeps them performing and entertaining you! Sleep well!

I think music is the only thing that keeps me going in life. Specially when I am depressed and blue. Sometimes I feel the writer has written the song just for me, and the artist-singer is just singing it specially for me. Its so magical. I never want to loose this feeling...

Its so powerful...it makes me wish I had the voice to sing along and the skill to play the guitar and just rock out! imagine the release it must give to be able to produce those awesome songs??

Yup it feels great. when my husband is in his deep sleep, snoring. I am listening to Michale Buble and dreaming like there is no end. I can never sleep without having to listen to some genuine music. I need my ears to hear those amazing voices, like they are singing to me a lullaby. When I do fall asleep, part of my brain is awake listening to the music, and then it ends up being 5 in the morning!
