i wish that i can do something else that stay at home. it is hard to just have the television as a way to pass time. but i can't just leave home. how i wish that i can do something worthwhile of my time daily than just waste my time to the same soap . although i am not actually the one watching the television but the helper at home. but i do still get to see what she is watching daily and get to watch some part of it .and hear the stories while using the computer.

Television has a place in life like all entertainment, like the radio and music, I sometimes have it in the background when doing chores, eating or working. This does not mean that everyone must like every show that is on. Soaps, reality shows, dramas, comedies have their fans and people who dislike the shows. I for instance am not a fan of reality shows or prank shows. I don't mind soaps, they are like novels, continuous novels with characters that evolve.

Read books, do you know how to weave, knit, crochet, make things? Paint? Take up a hobbie.

I only watch TV mostly after dinner to see the recent news. After the news, it's my wife's turn to view her favorite telenovelas. For me, the problem in watching TV is the long interruption because of commercial break. The station have a way when to stop for commercial for suspense effects, and it takes too much time to resume.
At daytime, if I have nothing to do at home like something that needs repair or anything that needs my time and attention, I just get busy in front of the computer.

I haven't been watching television for around two years since I moved here on the island two years ago. I like watching. I would have liked to watch television.

The TV use to be the "window of the world before the rise of the internet technology", but spending to much time on it promotes idleness. So there should be a "no TV" time to promote productivity.

We are humans so we people get bored when we do the same thing for continuously for years. So keep a distance between everything. Spent little time with your family members, TV, Radio, Mobile phone and what ever things you have.
I think this will help you to have good time with fun.

I don't get tired of watching television if and only when there are sensible movies to watch. Movies that are being repeated more times than you eat meals is kind of boring. That's the only time i don't like to watch anymore. Sometimes i watch television the whole day if i don't have anything to do that's important. I don't get tired.

When I work on the computer, the TV is always on but certainly not on the soap operas that most people favor. The TV is always turned on to the news. I never get tired of it and I would glance once in a while whenever what I am hearing is interesting. When I wake up early in the morning, I immediately turn on the TV for the morning news while I am having my first cup of coffee. I also watch the Amaya, Survivor and some other TV show at night. I hate watching people cry because it depresses me so I don't go for the soap operas. I appreciate those shows where there is laughter to keep me entertained.

You could do online part time jobs so that your time would be allotted to golden works. You can earn at the same time your time will not be wasted into unproductive venture of just watching television.:)

The more you watch TV the more you'll get bored with it. It's human nature to feel that way because you are constantly doing the same thing over and over again. Try doing different things at different times. For instance, spend time on MyLot, going out with friends or family, volunteer work, or walk in the park etc. This will help you to avoid doing the same thigns over and over again.
