How much do you think is the minimum money you need to stay alive eveyday? Of course to stay alive all we need is food. Consider that you already have a house and clothes so all you need is food and water to survive (medicines are excluded). I think I can live with a minimum of $3 or even $2. I prefer eating vegetables because they are more cheaper yet healthier to eat.

Where I live, I could live off around 4-5 dollars a day.Just getting a large bag of rice and other vegtables and split the cost over a week.Buying in bulk is the key to spening the least amount.Seeing how times are tough now many are trying to cut back and save money in many areas, especially food.

If i do have clothes and house, and all i need is money to survive, the minimum money i will have is 100 php in a day or less. I prefer to eat fruits and vegetables.
Vegetables are cheaper its true and you get the benefit of it.
If we have our own vegetable garden we can live everyday and spend less for food.

I have came to realize that each day eating habit is not a must for me, because I can survive without eating food or drinking water for twenty four hours. I think I have spent so far around 2 to 2.5 dollars in whole day for both food and drink as well.

If i have a house, then excluding fuel, electricity and other charges , i guess 2-3$ would be the minimum amount needed by me. I do not spend much , nor do i eat any expensive food item , i look for seasonal vegetables, as they are cheap. This much amount is sufficient for me to spend a day.

Well, I believe I can stay alive with as little as 50 cents. How is that possible? let me do a little calculation for you my friend. 50 cents in US, will become about Rm1.56 in Malaysia. One pack of long bread will cost me RM 3.40 which I can eat for 3 days. So it's like RM1.13 a day. Don't worry, this particular bread contains the necessary mineral such as calcium, iron, protein, carbohydrate, vitamins, magnesium etc which is what we need o be alive. 2 liters of fresh water will cost me RM0.40. which makes it RM1.53 exactly to survive each day. Impressive huh?

Well this sepends from country to country and I feel in India to have three good and healthy meals around 2.5 $ per day would be sufficient, if all other needs are taken care off. This does not include eating just vegetables , but good food in decent restaurants..
Morning breakfast and coffee and cofee would cost around .5 $ and lunch a full vegetarian meals around 1 -1.25 $ and dinner around the same amount.. SO I believe 2.5 $ is enough to eat well..
