What is the life of your laptop battery?

i had bought an Acer laptop last year, but i am not satisfied with its battery life, is already needs a replacement. So its life is around 1 year.. What is the life of your laptop battery??

my last battery had 3 years, because i never use full battery and connection to electricity :)

that can with a problem with mine, my battery is on charge for almost whole day.

in that case just take your baery out of laptop and use just conection to electricity :)

My Asus Laptop battery had around 3 yrs, But its life depends upon yr use, how many times u fully discharge (working fully on bty). Life is more when u always plug in AC and used for only power failure.

When we first got our Toshiba satellite laptop, it could last around 7 hours on eco mode. A year and a half later, I'd be lucky if it lasts 10 minutes. I always leave my laptop plugged in nowadays. One day I will save up for a battery to replace the one I have as backup when I have some spare money to do so. ^^ It's not easy being a poor college student, but I'm jsut glad all of the classrooms on campus have a place to plug in depending on where you sit in class. I have to make sure I have to get there early so I can sit in a place next to an outlet.

My Laptop battery give me 2 to 2.5 hrs backup, when its fully charged, i am happy with as compare with other which new laptop battery only give 1 hrs backup which is usually less as compare to my laptop.. Until date i have need no replacement of my battery, as its good in running condition, i didnot know the exact life of battery, when they give me backup around 1 or half hrs i replaced with new one...
