uses and misuses of television programs?

television as a device is a two sides of the same coin. it has both advantages and disadvantages.....it depends on the viewers that what program they are watching......
advantages:-
1) we get to know the news round the world.
2) we can watch sports channel and learn new sports like cricket,football etc
3) listening to music which makes us feel bettes when we are stressed up.
4) we knowledge from channels like national geography,discovery,history etc..
disadvantages:-
1) serials are the worst programs on the television that makes problems in each and every houses.
2) adult channels which makes children distract from their studies and work
3) the movie channels makes entertainment but sometime this are also rediculous.

Media has a big role to play. and one of the media is tv. programs today are not wise showing anything they want to. they don't think or consider the children. they are sowing hatred, wrong perception,immotality and disrespect to parents.
Adults are responsible and accountable for everything regarding media. We must have a God centered family. The world is contaminated and poisoned by media's unwise decision.

media today are totally publicity based....they dont search for instead make a news for publicity and for higher ratings for their channels....

everything in this world has its two faces, advantages and disadvantages. television is having so many advantages. we can know what is happening around the world in a fraction of second. so it is our duty to choose what is good for us and give up what is bad for us.

you are truly correct...we should watch those channel that gives us knowledge and sometimes entertainment when we are stressed up....

The primary purpose of television is entertainment. That's why those channels have higher ratings and they spend more money on programming. The other channels just serve niche markets.
