Unexpected Bonus.

I was so thankful, after resigning from work more than three months ago.
I received a call yesterday from my former boss.They send me $250 as my Christmas bonus thru my bank account.They were so surprised to see that the money was still there in the office (they ask one of the Engineer who lived near our house here in the province to give the money to me before Christmas)so they send the money instead.Though it's late for Christmas,it is still a blessing that we can use this new years eve.
Isn't that something to be thankful?
Now i don't have to worry on what to have this New years eve. :-D

Well, it is really a surprise for you, i think. Because you have resigned from that company. It is also a sign that the boss is a good person, he or she never forget former employees who contribute to the company. You should feel lucky to have worked for such company. And i think they do this also because they do think you have done very well on your job.
Wish you have more good lucks in the new year, and wish you can work for another good company.

Congrats. That is a nice Christmas bonus. Hopefully you can save some of that bonus too, to spend it on other things besides New Years Eve.

I guess your company is one of those who appreciates, what their employees have contributed to its success. To think that you are no longer connected with them, but still they gave you bonus. I guess, that's their way of thanking their loyal employees who helps them to attain where they are now.
At least now you don't have to worry for your family's new years eve.

Wow! That's quite a handsome bonus that you got there! As the old saying says: Better late than never.
But how come that you are still entitled of a Christmas bonus when you have already resigned from that company of yours? If they still owe you some money, they should've given it to you together with your last pay or back pay. Well, that money is still a blessing so it is better to just have it around and be given to you. Maybe you can share it with me as I didn't received any Christmas bonus as of late.

Well actually if you will be commuting it will take only 4 hours from Manila to cabanatuan then another one hour from the city proper to our place.Just tell me.You are most welcome.My favorite is pizza,so don't hesitate to bring at least 5 boxes.lolz

I always tell everyone that i only did what i had to.I am an employee,they pay me so i need to return what is given to me.And i always share the knowledge to everyone in the company.And because they love me not only as their employee i gave the love back with respect.

Wow that is wonderful. I would expect that if I quit work and had a bonus in there that I didnt use that it would just be gone for good. I wouldnt expect that they would give it to me. I can imagine how surprised you were and thankful. My friend got fired today and is very upset I feel terrible for her. I bet she wishes she had your luck. Her boss didnt even tell her why he fired her.

good for you to get that bonus. that was a nice gesture on your boss' part. i would repeat what others had mentioned here that perhaps you were a good employee that is why you got that big of a bonus. add the fact that your boss took time to send the money to you speaks volumes of how good of an employee you were to them. i know $250 is a lot of money here in our country so i'm very sure that you had a great new year's eve.

Hi allen,i am really hoping so that i have become good to their eyes so they won't forget me.They have been nice to me when i was working with them that is why give them back what is expected of me.

I dont get any of these bonuses anymore... and I keep an eye open for my friends getting this "bonus"... gives me an opportunity for a Treat... Darn, I am quite shameless guy when it comes to festivities
