Is conservative Talk radio a stupid set up?

Is conservative Talk radio a stupid set up? Talk radio is a platform that can be used for strictly propaganda.
If you listen at many of them they do not allow for others opinions to be heard. If some one else talks too long about the opposite theme from their views they are turned off.
This is not fair and makes it hard to consider them fair.

I think in the end it's about what the people want to hear.
As you point out correctly, some or many (I don't know exactly how many are out there or at what extense of the country) radio stations aren't that open for public comment, but if there's enough audience OR the station is loaded to keep paying for their broadcast, it will continue.
Personally, I rarely listen to them for a few minutes, get a laugh out of it on how they trash talk whomever, and then I change stations to my favorite ones.
