Yesterday I and other mylotter/s (2 mylotters) visited a very good Indian family friend here in my place. We have our lunch this time (usually we spent dinner with them) Again, they adjusted the way they cook their foods (they loved it hot and spicy ) But since they know I cannot bear it too hot, so they lessen it to suit my taste. They're really sweet and not every friends are too considerate like them. And, kuya (elder brother) never forget my chai (tea) but this time he serves me a coffee all the way from Kerala India.(taste really good ) We have friends, relatives and loved ones in this life. They have their way of showing us love and attention. Isn't good to have friends especially foreigners who really give us importance? I also wish, looking forward for another friend to come. Yah, she just sent me a message in FB and I am so excited to see her in person...soon! How do you show your care to your friends and loved ones? Are you considerate enough to adjust things with them? HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE AND WISH YOU ALL THE BEST FOR THIS COMING YEAR! jaiho® - wishing everyone the best of everything 12/30/2011- 6:39pm Friday

Seems fun and I am sure you all enjoyed it. I have tried some Indian foods (can't remember its name) cooked by an Indian friend before. Me and my friends feels it's too spicy. So the next time he gave us biryani, he made it less spicy. I always loved biryani and I missed it. I remember eating Poori too while I had dinner in an Indian restaurant with two of my Indian friends before when I was in another country. They're great coz they are telling me which one is nice and not too spicy. Last two nights I have spent it with my bestfriends. Eating out and chatting, catching up since they're both busy at work. Exchange gifts and take photos We've planned to spend time out again tonight but one of them suddenly needs to do something so we plan to reschedule it.

jai and suny Happy New Year Me, I can eat spicy but not that much. I can eat those spicy biryani he gave us but other friends can't. So he had to adjust I am always confused with chapatti and poori they look a bit the same. Suny, I think I haven't tried eating Aloo Tikki...I have eaten some Indian viands but I could not recall what it was called. But another one I remembered I tried eating is Indian snack, Samosa

Hi... Oh yes, Indian food is real spicy.. And it does a lot good... I am an Indian and I can't eat anything, that is not spicy.. I love spicy stuff.. You are really lucky that you are getting to meet fellow myLotters in real.. I wish I could meet a few friends from myLot too.. I wish to thank these good people.. They have been so kind to me... One of them treats me as if she is my Mom and actually calls me 'son'.. That is so wonderful to read.. Indian hospitality is something that you could go on talking about until you are tired... And as an Indian I can say that with pride... Take care... Have a lot of good time with your Indian friends...

You appear very lucky that you have some good Indian friends who treat you with sumptuous meals and cook dinner or lunch for you as per your own tastes and preferences. I do not have off line friends who are from other countries and who live neaby my house. Hope your friendship will get more strengthened in the coming year. Happy New Year to you. :-)

My mother's family has relatives which denominates to different belief. They don't eat food which is of pork. They also cannot use ex stuff remained the fork things. We don't serve them food from pig. We serve them chicken. The stuff has to be forcefully clean or hygienic. I don't know what to call we are doing that every time they come to visit us, considerate or something like it. As far as I knew, we really respect their belief, that's all. We loved being different, so we respect and appreciate them very well as a family.

As for as i know since ancient times India was the centre for spices. in old times merchants use to come with gems and metals and use to exchange with the spice in India. I am an Indian and i have been to 3 continents and numerous countries but have never came across any delicious food as nice as in India but i may be wrong because everyone would like there local cuisines. I am happy for you. Hope in future you will find few more friends and even you can teach them some dishes to cook and relish.
