what is gmail? what can i do with it?

what is gmail and what is function? a few months ago, one of my foreign friends suggest me to apply a gmail account and she said it is convinient to use. but i donot know how to apply an account and i donot know what can i do with it, if you are a gamail user, please give me more detail information about, i really want to know more about it before i use it. Thanks

If you are being able to use YahooMail, then you should be able to use Gmail as well. Both of them are just somewhat similar - they offer email services

g mail is a medium where u can see your job opportunities. some of the leading companies will provide you a god job. you can set up your own carrier by g mail. you just create an account and then log into your profile. your dreams will fulfill in short time.

a gmail account is like a hotmail/yahoo/live account, with a gmail account you can sign in into youtube with your gmail account. I don't know any advantages, but Iam using it too. You can use a gmail account when you don't want to give your real email adress
