Here the people had really decided to welcome the 2012 with variety. The people really planned to celebrate it with cakes, fire works and other items. Here the town is getting crowded with more and more people.

We had a nice countdown on New year's eve. It was really crowded everywhere but luckily for me, my bf managed to book a high end hotel room, with a fantastic view of the fireworks on display. That was my first experience watching a firework from high up in the room, as if it's exploding right into my face. It was a romantic setting, something different from what the crowd is facing outside on the streets. I'm glad to have spent such a New year countdown as after the fireworks, some of my close friends were invited to a small party in the room. It was fun.

Well, in Manhattan, in Times Square, thats where the ball drops from and there are always loads of people there. I will not go there for that. In Brooklyn, people do what they do, either stay home with family and friends or go out drinking or go to dinner and such. But Brooklyn is part of NYC so it is crowded anyway.

I do not have any plans. I chose, watching television at home. The highway would be very crowded and jammed. However, I hope, tomorrow's weather is sunny. Because, there are many sellers, who take this better fortune. You do not be selfish, because there are others, who seek the fortune of the New Year.

Our city is not crowded at this time of year because we live in a rural area. We do have more visitors in the summer though because of camping and boating.

My city is very crowded too. Usually there are around 300k inhabitants and on this time of year reach more than one million persons in the city. So, imagine how bad is for us to use the car, places that normally takes 15 minutes to get there now we take almost an hour.
