Which is worse, failing or never trying?

I failed in some ways. Some said that I can't do it because I failed.But i dont believe in them because life is full of chances. I have belief in what I do and I believe that success comes in trying many times and not giving up. My dear mylotters I want to ask you Which is worse, failing or never trying?Please share your thoughts...
