I keep hearing about Twitter but haven't signed up yet? Is it worth signing up? Could anyone tell me more about the benefits? Any bad bits? ;)

I have an account but mostly, I follow celebrities, news anchors, TV shows and only a few people who I know personally . I use it when I want to get updates on current events because usually, news programs tweet their news items with a link to an article relating to the news. On a more personal level, I use it to get out a rant or a bad vibes or even positive vibes. That's basically how I use Twitter.

I have sign up but are not active really. Now I start to be active. I think its fun to use as you can follow anyone you like but don't expect that those you follow will also be interested to follow you. Its really a great place to promote articles or blogs. You can also have a small chat there and meet a lot of people.

I am on Twitter but I don't let myself get hooked to it too much. It's useful for people who have blogs as they can promote their articles there especially if you have a lot of followers. Some are keeping their twitter accounts to get gossips from celebrities and interact with them. While some are using it to get in touch with friends. A bit hard 'though, twitter is where you can post everything you want to ppost.

You can follow everyone who is interesting like your favourite show or actrice. You can 'stalk' them by seeing what they are doing and you can also post what your doing right now or going to do. Bad bits? Look out with what you post. It can be used against you ofcourse by friends or other people.
