I don't know much about the cost of animal medical care in your country, but in U.S, having a personal pet under your care does require large percentage of your financial assets. Recently my eight years old cat was infected with urinary tract parasite, i took her to a veterinary clinic for a dignosis, the cost of just blood test alone cost around three hundred dollar, while the treatment for her is around two hundred on drug alone. It is lucky for me that her blood test did give the veterinarian some clues about her condition, and managed to precribe the right drug for her, if not, i am doubtful i can affort to pay extra for further testing on her. The medical cost of keeping a pet like dog, cat, or insect healthy is getting outrageously high over here in U.S, i am wondering whether it also cost several hundred of dollars for an animal health test in other part of the world, hopefully some Mylot members can shed some lights in their own country regarding animal's health care expenses. What is your view on several hundred of dollar just to get a blood test for your pet, do you think it is justify or plain silly it would cost so much, i can understand at least some of the reasons why there are so many strayed animals on the street nowadays if the health care cost is at this level and rising every year. Your view is much appreciated.
