Whenever it happens, I try not to look at it and especially not to smell it because the smell of vomit makes me want to vomit too.

Oh my good Lord..looking at it i think is not good.. but a child usually vomits when they travel.. It's disgusting to see a child vomit in front of you.. I remember way back, we had this field trip my classmate drank a bottle of milk before departing while on the road, she told me that she feels dizzy and wanted to puke.. maybe she can't wait long enough, unfortunately she vomited on her seat and the vomit is milk.. after that I never drink milk for the rest o my life.. I was traumatized by it..

it is natural that sometimes children vomits... specially on vehicles because they feel dizzy. my wife until now brings a vomit bag with us. no matter where we go she always bring one for sometimes you dont expect that your child will blow it out. it is a mess and just imagine what will other people say if they get drops of puke on their shoes or clothes. so a responsible parent brings a vomit bag wherever they go. even you will ride a cab you dont know what can happen.

That is so disgusting- :x We cannot blame people feeling the disgust, annoyed or irritated. It must be sorry for the parents of that innocent child. We cannot avoid such incident/s- and we cannot determine peoples reaction as well.

I have never encountered that in a public vehicle, but I did experience it in my own vehicle when we were traveling. It was my son when he was young, he used to get car sick and throw up. He was on bottles then. And the smell was always hard to take. I remember having to pull over on the shoulder of the highway to clean up the inside of the car. And clean up and change my son. It happened a few times with him and a few times with my daughter. Now they are bigger, so they don't get sick like that anymore.

Hi asliah, No I have not come across anyone who has vomitted in front of me inside a public vehicle before. Anyway, I can emphatise with him or her as I myself as a child have vomitted before and in the classroom! I can't really recall what I ate but I was feeling so awful and there was no time to go to the bathroom. I just threw up. Imagine my horror and the embarassment. Fortunately my teacher and classmates were so understanding that didn't make a fuss or comment at all. The teacher said it was alright and sent for the cleaner to clean up the mess. So if I were to witness someone else vomitting in front of me, I would try to help him or her by offering perhaps some paper tissue or a plastic bag if one is available. I would also try to comfort the poor child as it's not his/her fault as he/she may be ill or something. Hope that helps. Have a nice day.
