Hey Mylotters! I want to share with you all my preferred method of studying the Bible.
I find verses that state who I am, what I have and what I can do in Jesus Christ. Many of the verses have the terms "In Him", "In Whom" and "In Christ" (at least in the King James Version.)
Some examples are Romans 8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit." and Colossians 2:9-10 "In Him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And you are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power."
What do you think of studying the Bible in this way? Also, have any of you done the same kind of study?

Aye. I think that is a splendid way. What I have here is the Online Bible. Actually you are supposed download it. In NA go to http://onlinebible.net/. Outside NA use http://www.onlinebible.org/.
What happens here is that the Holy Spirit gets me interested in a word / words / or phrase. I input whatever He gives me into engine. Like, "mercy & truth" or "the Lord roar*", etc.
It also lets you search by Hebrew, Aramaic or Greek words using Strong's numbers.

Greetings iuliuxd.
Basically, I have known His "voice" since January 25, 1970. It is hard to describe. Let me say, the same Presence that drew me to surrender to Christ is the same Presence that continues to guide not only me, but others. One "test" is that it will never contradict the written Word. Another "proof," at least to me, is the blessed results that come about when I obey His voice.

I think it depends on what works for you. There are many websites that have Bible Study programs, however, I think it helps to find one that is suited for you. Sometimes just an online Bible with a good search engine and cross referencing is enough for some people
