We had a power cut in my building and I was getting bored. I was also alone at home and almost all other people from my building were outside, chatting. Out of boredom, I though of something. So I switched on my PC. How, when there was a power cut? Using my UPS. I turned the volume to a maximum so that people can hear the Windows start up theme. And guess what? They did. They heard that and freaked out thinking that I didn't have a power cut and they had some fault in their connection and started scrambling and calling the electricity office. After a while, they showed up at my home and I was caught. Well,, nothing serious happened, it was my home, my computer, my wish what I wanted to do with it right?

WOW, that was some nice thought. I hope I too could use this idea, but I have a Laptop. But that was really funny. It happens sometimes. Some of our neighbors have solar light, and when light goes, there house still glows. I think you understand what next....Ha Ha

So what if you have a Laptop? Oh, speaker problem right? Also, consider manoj's information and don't cause any damage to your system. All the best.

That was funny. My brother also tried to pull that prank on us. There was a blackout that day on the entire metro. My brother opened the laptop and the same window start-up theme was heard all around the house and everyone thought the electricity had come back. My brother was laughing like crazy at the sight of us standing to turn on the television and lights. After a while the lights came back. It's a good joke though.

Yes, but it's a whole different thing pulling it on a large scale with your neighbors.
