Hello fellow people! I'm going to make dinner with a friend tonight for new years eve, but we still dont know exactly what we're gonna make. I think some seafood like shrimbs, and tenderloin scalloped potatoes. So my question is, what are you gonna make for tonight? Your last meal in 2011.

Kare-kare - A family favorite
I am two week late in answering this post. I saw this just now and saw that no one cared to give a response so here I am giving a resply. I actually cooked a lot last New Year's Eve. A lot and really a lot so that up to now I am still eating leftovers. I have not been going to the market because I still have lots of food in my refrigerator. Now going back to your question, I think I have to attach photos for you to see what I prepared for my family and relatives for our last 2011 dinner..

Crispy Chicken fillet - Crispy and juicy
Then, I also cooked crispy chicken fillet. It is also a favorite because it is crispy in the outside but very tender and juicy in the inside. I prefer this dish because it is made of white meat. I am healthy conscious you know.

Beef Brocolli - With Mushrooms added
I also cooked beef broccoli with mushrooms added. I don't eat beef so I just had to choose the broccoli and the the mushroom when eating this dish. This has been made tasty by oyster sauce and lots of herbs and spices.this is one great favorite of my guests.

Fresh vegetable lumpia - Very healthy
Now for my love for veggies, I never forget to always cook fresh lumpia lumpia in any occasion. this is a combination of cabbage, carrots, chayote, celery, sweet potato, baguio beans rolled in a wrapper and then made even more tasty by ground peanuts, garlic and the sweet sauce.
