my favourite has been always ooty.Its in tamil nadu (South INDIA).

I would say Manali is the hotest of the destinations and north east India we have wounderful hill stations like Zero in Arunachal pradesh and Shillong in Meghalaya...

I am also from Shillong in Meghalaya. I would say is a very Peaceful place, pleasant whether, nice people, tribals but educated, and SHILLONG is really happening now.
It is also known as the Rock Capital for the love of music.
Currently The Shillong Chamber Choir is one of the finalist The India's Got Talent-Khoj 2 telecast from COLOURS channel.
